It is a lottery for members only.

Each month at the meeting the members in attendance may put a loonie in the pot and sign the list.
After the refreshments, one name will be drawn from ALL of the association's members.
IF and ONLY IF that member was present and has signed in, he/she wins the pot. It's just that simple.

The problem is, you have to have been in attendance the evening of the draw, put a loonie in the pot and signed in, in order to win. If your name is pulled and you weren't there or you didn't put a loonie in the pot, you don't win. The pot then carries over to the next month. Should be lot's of fun.
