Welcome back members.
At this time things are still very preliminary, however strong interst and support from our regulars as well I as some new faces has been expressed. The make up of the industry is rapidly changing, a new generation with fresh new ideas is coming to the forefront, and this will be an excellent opportunity to keep abreast of the ever changing world of building operations.
As in the past, we will be providing a tabletop format for the display of products, literature and demonstration devices. The tables measure approximately 4 feet by 2.5 feet. Electrical power is available, for operating all of the 'gee whiz devices'. We expect a maximum number of 30 tables to be available.
We will have refreshments available during the show, as in the past. There will also be draws for prizes donated by our Associates. These prizes have been substantial and the draws tend to be a fun part of the event.
If you are an operator, please plan to attend and bring your co-workers and other operators. If you are an Associate, please plan to take part as an exhibitor. Displays can be as elaborate or as simple as you wish to make them. The important thing is that we are able to show the extensive skills and technologies that exist within the BOA membership. I hope everyone enjoyed their summer, all though with the heat wave we had in August, I'm sure everybody was kept on their toes. The time for our annual Trade Show has come around again and this years theme is "Operations Excellence in the new Millenium". The purpose of the show is to encourage an exchange of ideas between the operators and our associate members. It also serves as the best time to strengthen our association by attracting new members.
