Useless Gift Exchange

Attending the Christmas party? Well lets all have fun this year and get involved with our "Useless Gift Exchange". Believe me, you will have so much fun, I say, everyone will laugh so hard and will want to get into the spirit of the evening.

Here's how it works!!!!

Go to the darkest corners of your house and grab what's been sitting around for ages and that you have no use for anymore. (doesn't matter what it is, your imagination is what entices the fun for the Useless Gift exchange)

Wrap up the Gift and do not identify who it is from.

Each attending person, who brings a gift, will have his or her name put into a jar for the activity later on.

After every one has pretty well had their fill with the food, the Useless Gift Exchange event will commence.

A name will be pulled from the name jar and will come forward to pick a Gift from the designated area.

The first person will open the Gift at the front and show everyone what he/she got for Christmas, especially for the second person. Why? you say, read on.

The second name drawn at this point has the opportunity to either take the gift from the first person up or pick a new gift. Who knows the first gift could be something that isn't useless to you. Ha! Ha!

Now here is a trick! Should the second person pick the gift form the first person, the first person now has the opportunity to pick another unwrapped gift. Wow! what happens next?

Well it just happens to be the third person drawn from the name jar and guess what? That person has "three opportunities".
a) Pick the gift that the second person took from the first person, Oh! are you nasty.
b) take the gift from the first person, Geez!! the first person must be saying"when am I ever going to hold onto a gift" or
c) pick another unwrapped gift.

Well at this stage if the third person took the gift from the first person, the first person has the upper hand and may take the gift back from the second person who took it away from the first person. Have I lost you yet? The insanity has just started and gets crazier as we get more people into the picture.

This will continue onto the next drawn name from the name jar and so on and so on.....until there are no more gifts. Now you can picture the evening right!! Its going to be fun

NOTE! NOTE! NOTE!

One major rule of the event. A gift can only exchange hands ten times and then it will be locked in with the last individual or this could go on for ever, trust me, I was at one event that a gift got transferred 35 times before we had to stop it or it would never end. On and on and on and it did.

That's pretty well the rules of the Useless Gift Exchange. We will be making note of the rules once again at the event.
